Our Sheep

St. Croix Hair Sheep are ideal for grass fed regenerative farming. With good grass genetics and being naturally parasite resistant, they are a low maintenance breed. This leads to a more nutritious and delicious cut of meat.

Our Pigs

We chose Idaho Pasture Pigs because they complement grass farming and rotational grazing so well. With the majority of their diet coming from grass and hay, the need for grain is minimal, leading to a healthy and flavorful meat.

These pigs are a homesteader’s delight as they are a medium size, are great foragers and have a wonderful temperament. We sell them as feeders, registered breeders or as butcher ready hogs.

If you are interested in a registered male contact us early as we castrate the males withing the first week of birth.

Our Chickens

For egg layers we free range a have a mix including Red Rangers, Rhode Island Reds and Buff Orpingtons, producing a delicious mix of brown eggs.

For meat production we raise Jumbo Cornish Cross, free ranged to produce a large and flavorful bird, averaging 6 to 8 pounds each. Contact us in the spring if you are interested in butchered birds.

Our Dogs

Duke and Myla are being trained to be Guardian Livestock Dogs. They currently live with the sheep and are exposed to the pigs and goats (and soon chickens) as part of their training. Once they are old enough they will be the protectors of the flock from all predators.
